Top Destinations in Costa Rica

You might find it hard to finalize your perfect itinerary in Costa Rica. Why? There are simply a lot of things to see and explore in this beautiful country. One visit is never enough to see the whole beauty this nation can offer. To give you a great jumpstart for your Costa Rica getaway, I will give you my most recommended attractions of Costa Rica.

Arenal Volcano

Titoku Hot Spring in Arenal

Visiting Arenal Volcano should always be on top priority while you are having a vacation in Costa Rica. This stunning volcano is included in the ten of the most active volcanoes of the world until 2010. It is a perfectly-shaped volcano that is truly a gem among many photographers and tourists alike. You will never have an idle time when you visit the Arenal Volcano vicinity since there are a lot of things to do like canopy tours, horseback riding and experiencing a relaxing bath to any of the hot springs.

Manuel Antonio National Park

The next main venue you should never miss is going to the Manuel Antonio National Park. This is a park which is a whole new world of its own. It houses a number of beautiful beaches and resorts where you can enjoy with the whole crew. You may visit to see a lot of animals in the luscious rainforests present in the area. This is a great opportunity to bring the kids with you as they can learn about the ecology and how to take good care of nature. You will enjoy a great hike along the paths of Manuel Antonio.

Guanacaste

A perfect place for a great family vacation to Costa Rica is Guanacaste. It is a province in Costa Rica considered to be one of the top holiday destinations because it offers a wide variety of beaches and hotels. You may spend a long time on the beach and just relax during a lazy summer afternoon. You may also try snorkeling and scuba diving in any of the beaches of Guanacaste. There are absolutely tons of things to do in this province since it is also the most populated.

Jaco Beach

Surfer's Paradise in Jaco

Jaco Beach is a surfer’s haven. Although it not really recommended to bring the whole family with the kids when coming here due to the big waves and large rocks formations on the beach. A lot of events are being held here in Jaco Beach especially surfing and wakeboarding competitions that are participated by various foreign delegates worldwide. The night is always fun in Jaco Beach where you can see happy young people enjoying themselves.

Pretty impressive article. I recently located your site and want to claim that I have really enjoyed reading your web site posts. In any manner We will be finding its way back and that i hope you post again soon.

  2. I’ve been a PROUD member of Global Discovery Vacations for the past 7 years. I have used it to go to sarevel places in the US and 1 out of the country (Cabo San Lucas). Each place I stayed at was great. They were all small condos, (except for 1 was a large 3 bdrm 3 bth). Each unit was awesome, definately much better than staying at a hotel. Most of these places are not all-inclusive since these are condominiums meaning they are owned privately and exchanged through timeshare companies. I have always had great customer service experiences with the GDV staff and have always been glad that I purchased this membership. Granted you still have to pay for transportation to the resort, but you would if you had a hotel. Travel services are there to help arrange flights and car rentals but I usually use discount websites for that. All in all, I have NEVER regretted my decision to get into this and look forward to the many years of traveling to come. (This fall my wife and I are getting a cottage in Ireland through GDV for our anniversary.)
