About Us

Costa Rican Maps is a project of 1 Costa Rica Vacations that started in May 2003. CostaRicanMaps.com was born to promote businesses who were not familiar with Internet advertising. We offer advertisers a free webpage with their basic information and contact information. Our project is a unique combination of print and Internet advertising.

The project turned out to be a success and urged us to make more and ended up having eight maps of popular vacation desinations all over Costa Rica (and counting!). Growing demand for more copies and a more covering distribution we decided to go and developed our new formula.

The objective today is to reach both travelers in the country and interested visitors. It is our intention to help them in planning out the easiest ways to make their Costa Rica vacations a reality.

A permanent concern of ours was and still is how to get more exposure to our subscribers.

One of our collaborators, Peter, had the wonderful idea to incorporate a picture gallery for every vacation location, so visitors could get more specific information about the destinations they are planning to visit.
